Our Investment Team

Keith Tipple joined BlackPebble as team leader on June 24, 2014. Prior to his arrival, Mr. Tipple worked at a workers’ compensation administrator where he was responsible for maintaining the integrity of the client database as well as creating various reports to keep upper management informed of key trends within the organization. Mr. Tipple earned a BA degree in mathematics and economics from Fordham University and an MS degree in computational finance from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mukund Mukund, a founding member of BlackPebble, serves as the head of BlackPebble's Scientific Active Equities division.

Niyati Mohan is a founding member of BlackPebble, leading the US Strategy and Management Team under Beta Strategies. She is responsible for developing price quotes for institutional clients and maintaining this relationship with respect to tracking the performance of these funds and answering any questions the client may have. Ms. Mohan’s role also involves developing strategies for clients that are new to Beta products and assisting them in finding an investment strategy that meets their goals.

Jennifer Ma is responsible for portfolio data analytics in addition to trade operations for BlackPebble. Prior to co-founding BlackPebble, Ms. Ma began her career as a research analyst at Crabel Capital Management, a quantitative hedge fund specializing in commodities and futures. Ms. Ma earned a BS degree in Applied Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology in 2012 and is in the process of earning an MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Sassan Mostofi, is a founding member of the Americas Institutional Client Service team within BlackPebble’s Institutional Client Operations Group. The team is responsible for servicing and supporting the Institutional Client Business while complementing existing relationships, resolving time-sensitive issues requiring escalation, providing coordination and process review for complex multi-functional questions, and providing client Business Operations reviews internally and externally.

Jonathan Victor is BlackPebble's CTMO. Graduating from Duke University with a BSE in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mr. Victor founded BlackPebble as the head of technology. As the firm experienced explosive success, Mr. Victor expanded his role has head of technology to include being the head of BlackPebble's marketing division, thus becoming the world's first CTMO.
